An advance payment of ₹37.50 lakhs from the sanctioned amount was made to NICSI for hiring staff on an FOC basis. The senior technical director of NIC, Sri Hemanta Saikia, who oversees the BHUNAKSHA Project, was informed about the selection of 21 assistants for the initiative.
